Swishing

Swishing is the more glamorous cousin of the clothes swap! It's an organized clothes-swapping party where participants bring good quality, clean items they no longer wear and exchange them for something "new-to-you."

The term "swishing" comes from the swooshing sound of clothes being moved along rails or the exciting rustle of trying on new garments.

A typical Swishing event has three main parts: first, you drop off your items and receive tokens; second, organizers sort and display the clothing; and finally, the Swish opens and everyone can browse and "shop" using their tokens.

Swishing events often include refreshments, music, and sometimes even beauty services to create a proper party atmosphere. They're not just economical and eco-friendly but also super social and fun!
