Thrift spree

A thrifting spree is when someone goes on an intensive second-hand shopping expedition, usually visiting multiple thrift stores, charity shops, or flea markets in one outing.

Unlike regular shopping, a thrifting spree often has an adventurous, treasure-hunt quality to it - people might plan routes between different shops, set aside several hours or a full day, and usually go with friends to make it a social event. Some shoppers even plan 'thrift crawls' through different neighborhoods or cities, similar to a pub crawl but for second-hand shopping.

Regular thrift shopping might involve popping into one store, but a spree implies dedicated time for thorough browsing, trying things on, and the willingness to really dig through racks and bins to find hidden gems. The results of a successful thrifting spree often become a 'thrifting haul'.
