Shoreditch and Whitechapel are two vibrant areas in East London. They have a mix of old and new, with a lot of history and creativity. In this guide, we'll take you on a day out that includes sustainable cafes, a city farm, a vegan diner, and some great charity shops. Let's go!

Start the day with coffee at Paper and Cup

Start your day with a delicious coffee at Paper and Cup in Shoreditch. It's a lovely little social enterprise cafe, which means when you buy a drink or snack here, you're helping support the local community. Their terrace is very cute and the staff is very friendly which makes it the perfect place to start the day. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the good vibes.

Late morning: visit Spitafields City Farm

After your coffee, take a short walk to Spitalfields City Farm. It's a nice break from the busy city streets. At the farm, you can see some animals (goats, pigs, donkeys etc) and enjoy a bit of nature. It's a great spot to chill out for a bit and get some countryside vibes.

Lunch: Grab some plant-based Food at Unity Diner

When you're ready for lunch, head to Unity Diner. This vegan diner has a range of tasty plant-based dishes. The food is delicious and it's all vegan, so it's a great sustainable choice. If you're not in the mood for a full lunch, you can also head to Dauns a delicious vegan Scandinavian cafe facing Unity Diner.

Afternoon: Charity Shop Hopping

After lunch, it's time for some sustainable shopping. First, check out U.CLO, a nice second-hand and vintage clothing store. They have fashion from different eras, so you can find some unique pieces. Then, hit up some charity shops like Crisis on Brick Lane and SCT. You never know what treasures you might find!
